Dalia Burger


  • 1/4 Cup Dalia
  • 1 cup hot water Hot
  • 1/2 cup Crumbled or Grated Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Beetroot Carrot, Grated
  • 1 onion small, chopped
  • A handful Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chili Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp Toasted Bread Crumbs
  • Oil for Shallow frying



Wash the Broken wheat or Dalia well, blanch it in 1 Cup of hot water for approx. 5 minutes and strain it. Now add all the ingredients and oil with the Dalia (except the bread crumbs) in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Divide the mixture equally according to the size of the patties you want and shape them accordingly with your palms. Coat them with the toasted bread crumbs as this helps the patties to be fried without cracking or breaking. Shallow fry the patties in a pan till they are crisp and done on both sides.
