Dalia Fruit Porridge


  • 1 cup Dalia, precooked and cooled
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup chopped mix fruits
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • 6 walnuts broken into small pieces


Cook the Dalia and milk and add the cinnamon powder. Reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer, covered for 15-20 minutes or until the Dalia is tender and creamy. Remove the heat and add the chia seeds and stir for 2 minutes. Pour into bowl and add fruits of your choice. To serve, drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle the walnuts. The most delicious and healthy breakfast is ready. This dish has no added sugar. For a dairy free option you can use Almond milk or Soya milk instead.
